Traditional phone lines

A PBX-IP can be connected to a Belgacom BA or a Twin line.

A BA is BRI circuit-terminating equipment that has two lines. One digital line of this type allows two simultaneous calls. A Twin line is a particular type of BA that has two PSTN lines in addition to a normal BA.

Multiple BAs can be connected to the PBX-IP.

When using VoIP providers, traditional phone lines are required but are kept for physical fax and alarm systems.

Bandcontact equipment can be easily replaced with models that connect to a computer network.
